i didnt watch the oscars because the only films i saw were Basterds and Star Trek so just not much interest for me.
That's a tribute to the early 90s and the idea that non-lesbians are allowed to wear them again.

The Hurt Locker is really good, Crazy Heart and The Wrestler are pretty similar.
An Education was wonderful...Carey Mulligan should've won.
Makes me wish I'd been a crooner in the '60s though.

ReplyDeletei've seen only one K Bigelow flick, "Near Dark" saw it in the movies when it came out pretty much hated it but i think i'd appreciate it more now, maybe. great cast though!
funny but i recall a scene where someone asked Lance Heinrikson how old he was and he just kinda smiled and said "I fought for the South"
i thought that was cool!
i wanna see the wrestler. one of these days i suppose, i'm still working my way through the 1920's, lol.
She also did Point Break, haha.

a scrpt can make or break pretty much anyone. never saw point break....Matrix not withstanding, i dont do keanu reeves.

The Devil's Advocate is a really good movie.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion Charlize Theron's best performance, one of Pacino's, and definitely Reeves'...you should make that one exception.

ReplyDeletei started reading Atlas Shrugged for the 3rd time a couple of weeks ago and i can definitely see Charlize in the role of Dagny. I'm a little over halfway done with it, only about 500 more pages to go, lol!
i did see part of Devils Advocate on TV a few years ago. i would make an exception for that just to see Al. Al and Bobby are my Pisano's ;)
